Welcome to Learnernomics!

My name is Lily Manoharan and I am so glad you stopped by.  Learnernomics is where I share, reflect, curate and wrestle with  key learnings I experience and receive through intentional activities and strategic investment of time, or via serendipitous moments and meanderings which turn out to be momentous and meaningful.

Leveraging neuroplasticity, also growth mindset championed by Carol Dweck; anchored in security coming from truth and love; bouyed by critical curiosity and childlike wonderment, I find myself constantly making connections which leads to the next wave of questions and discoveries, plans and executions.  Join me as we find clarity in cacophony, beauty in simplicity, joy despite sorrow,  impact amidst challenges.  The maps we have may not always work, in fact the ones we need may not exist yet,  but we have enough tools and resources to revise or make new ones as we navigate.  And when we do, as Seth Godin urges us in “The Icarus Deception”, we will fly closer to the sun.

You are reading this because Seth Godin’s words, including a few personal messages, has encouraged me almost every day to make a ruckus.

Thank you Pamela Slim for asking for a deadline.  My commitment before you is making me ship this, finally.

I must thank my amazing husband who suffers a serious case of LLL (Life Long Learning) and has nudged me for years to get my blog going.  He set up this fabulous site enticing me to start and ship.

Finally, Matt Mullenweg, here it is, my first WordPress post as I told you nearly four years ago when I had this incredible fortune of hosting you at your first Jakarta meetup appearance.  That whole experience should be a post but let me start here by saying thank you.

Fellow learners, shall we embark?
